Sandra Delores Watts was born on January 4, 1954 to the union of Wilbert Watts Sr. and Ola Mae Watts. She attended the Detroit Public Schools. Soon after graduating, she was like a worker bee and always providing for her family. She was a longtime employee of Jewel Creations, where she crafted beautiful jewelry. She loved helping people, and this shown by her numerous years as a nursing assistant at Arbor Nursing Home, then she later worked at LaSalle Nursing Home where she was also a union representative for the Service Employees International Union (SEIU) local chapter. Even after her health began to decline, she still had time and strength to hand make gifts and trinkets for the elderly and less fortunate.
Sandra had a beautiful and bubbly personality and a smile that lit up a room, she loved everyone and at the end of every conversation, whether in person or by phone, she always ended with “I love you.” She will truly be missed! She leaves to cherish her memory mother Ola Mae and father Wilbert Sr. who preceded her in death. She leaves seven siblings: Wilbert Jr. (Robbie), Carl, Cynthia and Gerry all of Detroit, Michigan, three siblings that preceded her in death Zachary, Teresa and Louis. Three children: Necola (Tarrence), Jonith and Tyrone; eight grandchildren Douglas (proceeded her in death), James, DaQuawn, Jaleesa (Antwuan),Eneas, Joshua, Torrance, Ethan, along with one great-granddaughter Leannah, one Goddaughter Danyell and a host of other relatives and friends.
